# Copy Prompt & llms.txt (/docs/agents/llms-txt)

## Copy Prompt [#copy-prompt]

Wherever you set something up, Datahop offers a **Copy Prompt** button (the one with the ChatGPT and Claude marks). It copies a complete instruction you paste into ChatGPT, Claude or a coding agent:

| Where | The agent will… |
| --- | --- |
| **Settings → Install**, and an empty Home page | install the SDK with your real token, identify users, attach companies, add key events and check they arrive |
| **Settings → API keys & MCP** | connect with the key you just created, learn your data and report what's interesting |
| A flag's or experiment's implementation panel | put the flag or variant in the right place in your code, including the goal event |
| **New experiment → Hand this to your agent** | create the planned experiment, implement it, and launch after you confirm |
| These docs | the same, with placeholders to fill in |

Prompts in the app have your host and token filled in. An API key is only included right after you create it.

<CopyPrompt preset="connect">
  Try one: it connects an agent to Datahop and asks for a first read of your data, without changing anything until you confirm.
</CopyPrompt>

## llms.txt [#llmstxt]

Point any agent at one of these and it can take it from there:

| URL | What's in it |
| --- | --- |
| [`app.datahop.dev/llms.txt`](https://app.datahop.dev/llms.txt) | How to connect (MCP, CLI, REST), how to work with your data, a query cheat sheet and how to send events |
| `/llms.txt` on these docs | An index of every docs page, with a one-line description |
| `/llms-full.txt` on these docs | The whole documentation in one Markdown file. It's the best single thing to give an agent. |
| `/docs/<page>.md` | Any docs page as Markdown. The **Copy Markdown** button on each page gives you the same. |
